Disney and Marvel’s Big Hero 6 worked on multiple levels and for many reasons, but the part of the movie I loved the most centered around a big, white blob-shaped robot. Baymax and his many endearing qualities garnered him a following before the animated film hit theaters. I fell hard for the character. Therefore, when I was introduced to the art of Demetria Skye I flailed with glee and excitement. The self taught artist has drawn Baymax every which way you can imagine and often puts him in costumes. See Exhibit A:

Her work makes me want to craft outfits for my plush Baymax. He looks wonderful and/or adorable in everything. He makes a great Maleficent and Mad Hatter.

Skye’s art isn’t limited to only Baymax. She draws whatever characters tickle her fancy, including others from Disney films. The below gallery shows off some of her illustrations.
