It’s official: Fallout 4 will devour every bit of leisure time at your disposal this holiday season. Bethesda confirmed through Twitter that their soon-to-release RPG won’t include a level cap, and will continue endlessly beyond the main story’s completion. I’d be more surprised if the game didn’t continue past the main campaign, so that bit of news is fine and dandy. The real shocker is the lack of a level cap. Technically this game is now officially never-ending. You can read the full Tweet below.
To our fans whoâve asked: Fallout 4 doesnât end when the main story is over and there is no level cap. You can keep playing and leveling.

There should be zero shreds of doubt that this game is going to be absolutely massive. Bethesda is intent on filling the experience to the brim with content. We’re definitely not mad about that at all.
At this point, you should just be prepared to commit to this title on a longterm basis. Managing your time between all the upcoming AAA giants will be pivotal. My only request is that enemies scale according to your level. What fun is it to be completely over-powered, when there is no challenge to test your limits?
It’s hard not to be hyped for this game, every bit of news and game footage that is released out into the world seems to reveal an exciting new wrinkle we previously didn’t know about.
