Here’s a pic (so says the internet) of Ray Bradbury watching said video:

  3. This is inspiring. Pure smart girl excellence. It makes me wanna… it makes me wanna, it makes me wanna REEEEAAAAAAD!

  4. Geoff says:

    I am speechless.

Best part (besides all the hot stuff, of course) was the Vonnegut shirt near the end.

  5. Jesse P-S says:

I know several people in this video!

  6. Nicole says:

All I could concentrate on was how her bra was too low and making her boobs swing unnaturally

  7. Girl Anonymous says:

And such a catchy tune! But seriously, I did “do it” with my first boyfriend while watching the movie of Fahrenheit 451. So “Bradbury” and “sex” occupy overlapping cells in the Venn diagram of memory. Sorry, TMI.

  8. AL says:

She’d probably tell Isaac to kiss her Asimov.

  9. Daniel says:

Greatest sci-fi writer in history? She obviously hasn’t heard of Asimov.

*curls up in a corner. rocking back and forth* Every thing will be fine. this did not scare me for life. *looks at the icon next to my comment* AAAAAAHHHH *runs away*

  11. Nathaniel says:

Okay, so that was pretty awesome, but is it weird that I object to pegging Bradbury as a sci-fi writer? Some of his non-sci-fi novels are some of the best ever, too! Dandelion Wine (which, luckily, is name-dropped in the song) is great, for instance.

I would also like to mention the fact that Something Wicked This Way Comes is the only book that has ever genuinely scared me while reading it. I read it (by choice, not on assignment) in 8th grade, and I can STILL (I’m 23) look back at the horrifying images in my mind.

  12. anthony says:

hahaha. oh man this was so funny. houston we have a throblem killed me.
i agree Amrehlu, i was trying to think of who to send this to and i couldn’t think of anyone.

  13. Chris says:

Holy Shit! Literally the greatest song ever. As the #1 Ray Bradbury fan, I hung on every word (and can’t help being a tad jealous of ol’ Ray).

  14. Amrehlu says:

I personally know zero people, other then myself, that understand why this is awesome.

  15. Gwif says:

He’s turning 90 in a few days. Here’s to your health, Ray! 🙂

  16. PapaFrita says:

As someone who also grew up on Bradbury, I approve heartily. I like her line delivery as well.

  17. CrazyLadyWannaHaveYourBaby says:

This Was Fucking Awesome!!! I loved “Steve’s” face when she said that rather stay home and read. HI-larious !

  18. The hot Sci-Fi fan . . . now that’s some science fiction.
