EXCLUSIVE: Watch the Red Band Trailer for SEPTIC MAN

We here at Nerdist appreciate some cult horror. From our Schlock & Awe column to The Shelf, we’re not afraid to get nasty. Enter Septic Man, the latest feature from the creators of Pontypool, which first premiered at Fantastic Fest in 2013 and took home the Best Actor honors at the festival for leading man Jason David Brown. We’ve seen the film and can tell you that if you have a sensitive stomach, beware Septic Man! It features all of the disgusting things you would imagine from a movie about a sewage worker. Even its opening minutes are not for the faint of heart… and we mean that in the best (and grossest) way possible!

Septic Man is the tale of Jack, a sewage worker who is determined to uncover the cause of the town’s water contamination crisis. But, since no good deed goes unpunished, Jack becomes trapped underground in a septic tank and undergoes a repulsive transformation. Septic Man is being released on VOD on August 12 and in theaters on August 15 and we’ve got the red band trailer right here! Take a look and then take a shower. We’ll be here when you get back…

What do you think? Are you excited for some Septic Man in your life? Let’s hear all about it in the comments below!

Septic Man, starring Jason David Brown, Molly Dunsworth and Robert Maillet, written by Tony Burgess and directed by Jesse Thomas Cook, hits VOD on August 12 and theaters August 15 from Starz Digital Media.

I saw this movie at Fantastic Fest last year and I’ve never been more bored by a film at that festival than this…
I don’t fall asleep at movies but I was DESPERATELY trying to keep my eyes open through this dreadfully painful movie that makes little to no sense.
