A lot of people know Kumail Nanjiani from his amazing role as Dinesh on HBO’s comedy series Silicon Valley. Not to be THOSE GUYS, but we totally knew about him before anyone else, man. He has a little podcast with us called The Indoor Kids; maybe you’ve heard of it?

All smugness aside (sorry, internet), if you haven’t caught Silicon Valley yet, you’re in luck because it’s now available to stream on HBO… NOW. And to help spread awareness for the new service, HBO stars like Kumail are rounding up some of their favorite now-streaming shows and movies.

We here at Nerdist love Kumail to death, and given the choices he’s made for this list, it should be quite obvious why. Kumail is able to spread his love to all genres, from the obvious to the severely underrated. It’s almost a written rule theses days that if you have access to HBO, you should be watching Game Of Thrones, but is also nice to see Kumail throw some love to shows like Eastbound and Down, Flight Of The Conchords, and classics like The Wire.
