Prepare your eyes, everybody! We’ve gotten our hands on a shiny new trailer for Rooster Teeth’s brand new comedy series Rooster Teeth Entertainment System (RT-ES) starring Colton Dunn (LAZER Team, Superstore, Key and Peele). The show is set to premiere this Sunday, September 27 on both RoosterTeeth.com and the Rooster Teeth mobile app, and will only be available to those who sponsor the show–which comprises of people who pay for a monthly subscription.
According to the description, the series is basically a variety show driven by comedy which features interviews, music, gaming, live action and animated sketches. Also, since a portion of the show will feature a taped/live-action element, the video reveals that it will feature live music and a studio audience.
The above trailer shows series host Colton Dunn popping a game into his Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and getting sucked into the game, successfully showcasing both the live-action and animated segments of the show. Additionally, we get to see God of War’s Kratos, Call of Duty and a ton of animated shorts.
From what we’ve seen so far, it looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun to watch. The only bummer is that only paid subscribers will be able to check it out. Granted, the $4.99 price point isn’t too high and also scores you a few of their other sponsor-exclusive content like the Let’s Play Live: The Documentary.Â
