Replacing Jason Statham is an unenviable task. After all, who can compete with his steely gaze, permanent five o’clock shadow, and sidemouthed London gangster talk? Still, there are those who rise to the occasion and Ed Skrein is making a strong case for himself in this new exclusive clip from The Transporter Refueled. Before Skrein goes toe to toe with Ryan Reynolds as the villainous Ajax in Marvel’s Deadpool, he is becoming the new face of the Transporter franchise. Though the character may look different, the stakes are the same: never change the deal, no names, and never open the package. Of course, rules were meant to be broken and things tend to break an awful lot in Frank Martin’s line of work.

In this new clip, we see Frank Martin escorting a trio of blonde women to safety in his trusty car. However, standing between them and freedom are a number of heavily armed, mean-looking goons. So, what is an enterprising Transporter to do? Well, you put the car in drive, step out, and ghostride that whip while beating the obstacles in your way to a bloody pulp. Obviously we don’t recommend trying this at home unless you’re an elite operative whose sole purpose is to transport high-value goods from point A to point B.
