Well, the fan convention isn’t the only thing invading Long Beach on September 27-28; Harley Quinn is too! That’s right — everyone’s favorite hammer-wielding heroine is making a splash at this year’s con with a special variant cover by LBCC guest of honor Amanda Conner. The comic itself, DC Comics’ Harley Quinn #10, is co-written by Conner and her husband/fellow LBCC guest of honor Jimmy Palmiotti. And now we have you exclusive first look at the special variant cover.

Is it just me but removing the background color from the regular cover and calling it a variant cover just seems lazy and a bit money grubbing.
