If you weren’t already excited about the release of Harmontown, this deluxe edition trailer we are exclusively releasing this morning is just more reason to hustle over to Harmontown.com and get your very own special edition of the documentary about Dan Harmon and his podcast tour. There are a lot of features available to fans of the creator of Community and Ricky & Morty, but perhaps most special are the 50 hours of additional content that you can get through different special edition packages.
You won’t just have access to exclusives like Dan’s Birthday party. Some packages include the full-length recordings of all Harmontown shows from his 22-city tour, and bonus clips that feature footage with Eric Idle and Bobcat Goldthwait.
These special edition packages include a streaming only version of the film during EST (Electronic Sell-Through) and discounted pricing on two special edition packages with the 50 hours of additional content we mentioned above. The discounts will be available through November 7, 2014. The special edition packages also include three-months of membership to the re-launched site, which will feature live streaming video and purchasing options for new Harmontown podcasts and merchandise.
Harmon is currently on the road promoting the documentary’s release with shows across the country that include celebrity guests like Kumail Nanjiani, Bobcat Goldthwait, Gilbert Gottfried, Steve Agee and fellow Starburns Industries exec and writer Dino Stamatopoulos. In fact, Harmon, director Neil Berekley, and other special guests are in New York City promoting the documentary as we type! They’re currently right smack in the middle of their panel at NYCC, and will be heading to a screening at IFC Center as well as a podcast recording at 92Y tonight. (More detail on upcoming appearances here.) If you’re looking for the full cinema experience, Harmontown is available in select theaters, and you can watch it on demand through The Orchard with EST partners including iTunes, Amazon and Xbox.
So here’s the real question: Have you gone to buy your copy yet? What’s stopping you!?
