    I absolutely love this movie. It was my all time favourite film as a child. The crazy and scary designs of the characters in this film filled me with a true sense of wonder and fascination. Those Garthim were bloody terrifying!! If you’d like to see some of my work I actually sculpted a Skeksis 🙂

    Unfortunately though I’ve seen commercials and ads that day “Disney” and “Muppets” without any mention of The Henson Company. I’m not a big fan of Disney either.

    Disney didn’t take over The Jim Henson Company. Henson sold the Muppets to Disney in 2004. Henson, who still owns The Dark Crystal, remains independent. But you are right–it doesn’t seem the same now. Regardless, this sounds cool.

  14. I have always loved Jim Henson ‘s works . they all Made my childhood . I just wish Disney hadn’t taken over. Doesn’t seem the same now.
