Emotions Get Lost in Translation with the Cast of INSIDE OUT

It’s pretty safe to say that the five major emotions featured in the new Disney/Pixar animated film Inside Out are universal. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust — all are featured heavily throughout the movie. But what about emotions that are less universal? What do those look like?

Our own Clarke Wolfe decided to play a game with actors Amy Poehler, Lewis Black and Phyllis Smith, director Pete Docter and producer Jonas Rivera as they learned about emotions that don’t necessarily have an English-language equivalent. While we weren’t overcome with schadenfreude watching them play, we did have a lot of fun and we learned something, too!

Inside Out is in theaters now.
