“Grusk.” That’s so far the best the internet has come up with for the couple name of irascible billionaire Elon Musk and Canadian musician Grimes. Grusk made their debut this year at the annual Twitter Fashion Hour (or the “Met Gala,” as some know it). The appearance of the pair surprised many, not only because of Elon’s classic “reverse priest” look and Grimes’ ostensibly Tesla choker, but because the Gala was the first time Grusk was out in public. But c’monâ”Grusk”? The internet simply must do better than this. “Grime-on,” “Mimes” … it’s all better than what sounds like an infection an elephant can get.
Thatâs a white rose on my jacket & the choker is a bunch of spikes, not Tesla anything

For his part, Musk denies that Grimes’ outfit had anything to do with Tesla. The billionaire has been denying a lot of things lately, especially on social media. Endless articles about over-inflated stocks, weird conference calls, and frustrations over the Tesla Model 3 timeline surely must be taking its toll. Settle down, Grusky. It’s cool if your ladyfriend wore a Tesla choker. You’re the guy who tweets about cyborg dragons at Game of Thrones to pass the time. We’re not judging.
Also on the show this week, Elon picks up a tasty challenge from Warren Buffet and buys his own stock in the hopes of sticking it to Tesla short-sellers. Comment below with your better relationship portmanteau for Elon Musk and Grimes. “Grusk.” Pfft. Even Spederline is better than that.
