Editing Life with The Kids in the Hall

On this week’s classic clip from The Kids in the Hall on the Nerdist Channel, a pair of editors (with really spectacularly bad hair) make some changes in a manuscript. Then they take a walk and edit the neighborhood. If this didn’t anticipate countless reality shows on TLC and HGTV, nothing did. After the sketch, Chris Hardwick talks to Dave Foley and Kevin McDonald about splitting the show up between live studio sketches and filmed pieces.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE The Kids in the Hall, but frankly, I am enjoying the post-clip interviews much more. Chris, please post these interviews in their entirety. Most of us have seen these clips (but yes, it IS great to see them again) but the behind-the-scenes stories are the real gem of this series.

You are a comedy nerd and love the Kids like we all do, but you have to admit that you had a diamond-cutter when you sat down to do these interviews. You love the process as much as you love the comedy, and so do we. Show us the interviews. Please.
