Watch The Rock Fall Through His Entire Movie Career

Studio executives know what to do to make audiences fall head over heels for their films: cast The Rock. And then have him fall from a dangerous height. Hurtling to the ground has become one of Dwayne Johnson’s signature moves, right after raising one eyebrow and dropping The People’s Elbow. He does it so much, we realized one could even cover most of his IMDb page by stringing together all of his cinematic leaps, dives, plunges, and plummets in one video. And we did.

From the team that brought you a 1987-style trailer for Thor: Ragnarok, and a Die Hard-inspired teaser for Skyscraper, the latest remix from Nerdist Presents shows how Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has climbed to the top of the Hollywood ladder by being willing to nosedive from planes, launch himself from tall buildings, and freefall down the side of a mountain.

That final scene is from The Other Guys, and it’s one of the funniest scenes in his career, because even when Dwayne Johnson hits the ground he does something right. That’s why even though normally when you accuse someone of falling down on the job it’s an insult, when we say nobody falls like The Rock it comes from a deep well of respect.

Though we shouldn’t be surprised that he has a fondness for falling. His finishing move in the WWE was called “The Rock Bottom” after all.
