Doggone It! These DOCTOR WHO Drawings are Totally Adorable

Everyone deserves a little bit of adorable silliness now and again, and these Doctor Who drawings from graphic artist Christie Cox are sure to do just that. Because is there anything cuter than a 1,200-year-old time and space traveling alien rendered as a bunch of precious pooches? Not when they’re this wibbly-wobbly, cutesy-wootsey.

Cats have already had their share of Time Lord fun, so it was only fair that dogs got in on the gag. Considering the traits that dogs and the Doctor share — unbridled enthusiasm, unfettered love for his companions, and a nose to sniff out the truth — it’s a bit of a match made in heaven. In fact, the pairings of each dog and Doctor are so pitch perfect, we’re not convinced that April Ludgate (Aubrey Plaza’s Parks and Recreation character) didn’t pick these Spirit Dogs herself. I mean, Two is so clearly a Boston Terrier. And could Nine be a bigger doberman?

According to her Facebook page, prints of the images will be available at her Etsy store later this month, so make sure you don’t screw the pooch and miss out. Our favorites are below, but make sure to check out the rest on Cox’s DeviantART page.
