It’s About Time for Some DOCTOR WHO Fan Art

Doctor Who premiered at the beginning of October, but the 13th Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) has been electrifying fans ever since her casting was announced. While the BBC series and its many gloriously quirky title characters have long inspired artists to take up their pens, the arrival of the first woman Doctor has garnered even more attention—and lovely, lovely art.

And, lucky for us, the premiere coincides with Inktober, a yearly challenge for artists to draw one illustration per day during the month of October. That means even more delightful Doctor Who fan art for us to gaze at. (Even BBC America invited participants to share their Inktober Doctor Who art!)

Take a look at the pieces below for just some of the colorful, charming art celebrating the show’s long-awaited return.

What do you think about the new season of Doctor Who? Has it inspired you to put pen to paper? Tell us in the comments.
