DOCTOR STRANGE’s Final Battle Welcomes a TROLLHUNTERS/PINKY AND THE BRAIN Crossover

There was no shame for Dormammu in losing to a genius like Doctor Strange, but the Destroyer of Worlds might be a little more embarrassed by who bests him on this week’s Talkin’ Toons. Even though we found a suitably fearsome replacement for the Cosmic Destroyer in the form of Gunmar from Trollhunters, subbing in for the Sorcerer Supreme was none other than Pinky the lab mouse. Narf!

Mr. Krabs himself Clancy Brown joined host Rob Paulsen on the most recent episode of our Alpha series, and they recreated the bargaining scene from the end of Doctor Strange. Clancy filled in for Dormammu as his character Gunmar, and holy crap was that a perfect recasting (uh, probably even better to be honest). But Rob, taking over for Benedict Cumberbatch’s mystic sorcerer as Pinky, made for a very different, far more annoying Stephen Strange.

Serious question: why doesn’t Clancy Brown voice all the villains?

As for this ridiculous crossover, if Pinky were really Doctor Strange and had been the one to create this time trap, Dormammu would have caved after 30 seconds. So yeah, being a genius helps when saving the Earth, but sometimes so does being an annoying idiot.

If you want to watch the rest of this episode, you can only catch Talkin’ Toons at our online Alpha community. It’s only one of our many great shows there, and your first 30 days are free when you sign up for the first time. You don’t even have to bargain for that! We’re giving you the first 30 days for free.

What other terrifying monster should Clancy Brown voice next time? Tell us in the comments below.
