Doctor Strange Visits a Water Park Thanks to Green Screen

Warning: This post contains spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War, so if you want to avoid them please see the movie so you can enjoy this wonderful silliness.

..

We’re fairly certain everyone who was snapped out of existence by Thanos will return in Avengers 4. Not just because a whole bunch of them like Spider-Man and Black Panther are definitely getting sequels, but because Doctor Strange saw the future and knows something the rest of us don’t. But one thing we know after watching Benedict Cumberbatch‘s green screen footage get edited into the best commercial for summertime fun, is how our favorite magician should celebrate when he gets back–go to a water park!

One of the internet’s funniest people Jesse McLaren used the behind-the-scenes green screen footage of Cumberbatch flailing, running, and generally looking absurd out of context as Doctor Strange, and sent him for a day of wet and wild joy. It’s amazing how a regal, brave superhero can look like a total goober in the right setting, especially with the right song playing. (Seriously, make sure you watch it with the audio turned on.)

“Dormammu…..I’ve come to have fun!” :Doctor Strange starts playing the saxophone:

This is the best kind of absurd, but now I want to see the battle with Thanos on Titan set to “The Heat is On.” Also, Marvel should release any and all green screen footage they have so we can get more of these videos. If we have to wait a year to find out what happens to the Avengers, we should at least be able to pretend they didn’t turn to dust, but instead they all went to a water park.

What would be the silliest place to send Doctor Strange to? Tell us in the comments below.
