DIY STAR WARS Planet Mobile

Are you or your kids feeling as bored as Luke Skywalker on Tatooine? Then dust off the landspeeder and head into the nearest city that isn’t a hive of scum and villainy to shop for crafting supplies. Mad In Crafts has detailed instructions to teach you how to build the galaxy far, far away, a Star Wars mobile. Basically, you need to alter an existing solar system kit, paint it to look like the planets in the Star Wars universe, and string it on a mobile.

Before you begin, you should research the appearance of planets like Hoth and Coruscant. Search for images to see how they look from space. Then you just need to blend acrylic paint to make the right shades and transform the foam planets into places waiting for adventure. Then it’s only a matter of stringing them up. It’s a neat project that’s enjoyable for adults and easy for kids.

Which planet in the Star Wars galaxy do you feel inspired to make? Let us know in the comments.
