According to the Official Disney Fan Club, last week’s released-then-pulled announcement for Disney Infinity 2.0 wasn’t quite on target with the August 2014 release date.

In a D23 blog post, Disney explained that they “erroneously reported about the launch of the next chapter of Disney Infinity. This information was incorrect.” The post goes on to say that we should keep our eyes peeled for an April 30th announcement with more concrete details.

Disney teased Infinity 2.0 recently with the trailer below hinting at Marvel superheroes joining the collectible toy game.
