Disney Characters Re-Imagined as Horror Movie Villains

The greatest, most petrifying holiday of the year, Halloween, is (finally) just around the corner! And let’s face it, things tend to get a teensy bit weird this time of year… To celebrate this spooktastic time of character transformations, the staff over at Break.com have teamed with Virginia-based artist Travis Falligant to re-imagine our favorite Disney princesses as murderous, maniacal horror villains.

And the result is… shockingly awesome. Disney films are obviously known for portraying a magical wish fulfillment, and they’re endlessly positive. But it’s time to throw all that out the window for right now; have you ever wondered what Cinderella would look like as a blood-drenched Carrie? Hmm, kind of like this.

Cinderella as Carrie

We don’t know about you, but this image makes us want to see a whole movie with crazy Cinderella! Or better yet, a mash-up with all the beloved Disney princesses in a bizarre Halloween special. That just got a little weird, but as we said, it’s that time of year.

If these images have piqued your interest, check out the Gallery below to see Ariel as the Creature from The Black Lagoon, Pocahontas as Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th, and Mulan in The Ring. Then for a second dose of this fun, head over to Break.com to see Snow White as Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street, Sleeping Beauty as Dracula, Belle as The Wolfman, Tiana as Candyman, Merida as Chucky in Child’s Play, and Jasmine in The Exorcist.

Which Disney princess best fits her horror alter ego? Did they leave out your favorite Disney or horror movie character? Let’s hear it all in the comments below.
