Well…
The hot planets in this solar system (or The Solar System, given that Sol is our mid-sized, middle-aged yaller star/sun): Mercury, which is too darned close, and Venus, a bit farther out but with serious greenhouse gas problems…a carbon-dioxide atmosphere with acid clouds and such (the vacation you’ve been waiting for). Manages to get even hotter than Mercury, and stay that way.
