Details are now available for the upcoming Scream Factory release of the Brian De Palma cult classic Phantom of the Paradise. This is the first time the Academy Award nominated Phantom has been released on Blu-ray in the US and fans of the musical will undoubtedly be thrilled at the new special features. The new interviews with director De Palma and Paul Williams each clock in at over 30 minutes long. The release also includes a making of documentary running 50 minutes long and features interviews with Brian DePalma, Producer Edward R. Pressman, William Finley, Paul Williams, Jessica Harper, Gerrit Graham and more.

While it isn’t new, the special features also include the 72 minute interview with Paul Williams conducted by mega fan, and probably the coolest guy ever, Guillermo del Toro. del Toro and Williams are currently collaborating on a stage musical adaptation of del Toro’s Academy Award winning film Pan’s Labyrinth.
