You Can Design a Monster for DUNGEONS & DRAGONS

If you’ve ever wanted to create your own creature for Dungeons & Dragons (what do I mean if? Of course you have!), you’ll be excited to learn that Wizards of the Coast and Adobe have teamed up for a contest of monstrous proportions. Summon the Terror of Undermountain with the help of Adobe Photoshop and you just might see your creation become a part of Dungeons & Dragons for all time.

Don’t have Adobe Photoshop? Don’t close that browser tab in despair just yet! Adobe is offering a free 30-day trial and a toolkit of assets created just for this contest to get you started. Piece together your best beastie and submit it by November 16 and a panel of distinguished judges will look it over carefully.

Also part of the grand prize is a trip to meet the Wizards of the Coast themselves in Seattle and the creation of an unpainted collectible miniature of your one-of-a-kind monstrosity.

Not only is Adobe offering a free trial, but a tutorial in the toolkit will walk you through using the software just for this contest. There’s really nothing to lose and a ton to gain from this amazing collaboration!

Take a look at the official rules for eligible countries (which include the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, and more). You only get one entry, so make it count.

Good luck to all you monster makers out there!

Have you ever created a creature before? Tell us about it in the comments.
