Who knew that the dulcet tones of Phil Collins would be the peanut butter to Dead Space 3‘s undead horror-filled chocolate? Though you’ll still have to wait another week to play the survival horror spookfest, this new Dead Space 3 trailer (and the synth-drum breakdown of “In the Air Tonight”) should tide you over until you can strategically dismember all manner of Xenomorphs while blasting your homemade “Best of Genesis” mixtape. Plus, thanks to addition of co-op play, you actually can mangle your body weight in monsters (provided you know Collins’ Xbox Live handle).

Will you be picking up the game? Quemment below and let us know!

That is a simply awesome trailer! I can’t wait to see what the developers have in store for us in Dead Space 3. In fact, the anticipation’s gotten me so psyched up that I added the first 2 games in my Blockbuster @Home queue so I could play through them again before getting to the new one. Being an employee of DISH, I do my best to make sure that I’ve thoroughly tried all the different services and products we release. That’s why when DISH came out with Blockbuster @Home, I was eager to give it a go. It really worked out well since I used to buy all the games I wanted to play, and at sixty bucks a pop they did a lot of harm to my bank account. That changed completely as soon as I started renting them from Blockbuster @Home instead of buying them at sixty bucks a piece. With its flat-monthly cost, I was amazed at how much it freed up in my budget.

I’ve been eagerly awaiting this game since it’s announcement. Isaac Clark is one of the coolest game protagonists ever. And this franchise has taken over the ‘scare you shitless’ mantle that used to belong to Resident Evil. Flying around in zero-G in those massive, open areas, and getting turned around until you don’t know which was is up is some of the best gameplay I’ve ever experienced. And the lighting, environments, and sounds are all incredibly ominous and creepy.

Very few games can scare the hell out of me anymore, and this is one game franchise that can. Play in the dark, at night, with the sound turned way up, and have 911 on speed dial for your inevitable heart attack.
