DC Comics’ CONSTANTINE THE HELLBLAZER #8 Preview (Exclusive)

New York’s hottest club is Club Midnight. This place has everything. Shapeshifting demons, human skin suits, and magically disguised British sorcerers! The opening pages of DC Comics’ Constantine The Hellblazer #8 invokes a weird sort of deja vu for a SNL Stefon sketch that never aired, putting the reader into a weird underground nightclub where the monstrous and magical members of New York City’s underworld gather to debase, debauch, and engage in all manner of bacchanalia. Sounds right up John Constantine’s alley, huh?

Written by Ming Doyle and James Tynion IV and illustrated by Riley Rossmo, Constantine The Hellblazer #8 finds Constantine and Papa Midnite in deep cover trying to sneak into the aforementioned Club Midnight. Should be easy considering that it’s Papa Midnight’s own club, right? Alas, when Constantine is involved, nothing is that easy. Take a peek at the dangers lurking ahead for our hero in our exclusive preview gallery below.
