David Tennant Introduces THE DAY OF THE DOCTOR

I think most of us are looking forward to seeing the Tenth Doctor return for the 50th Anniversary Doctor Who special, “The Day of the Doctor,” and none more so than the Tenth Doctor himself, David Tennant, a lifelong fan of the show. In this special introduction, Tennant tells us about some of the amazing visual effects and props that will be used which hearken back to the early days of the series in 1963. It’s amazing how well they fit into today’s televisual landscape, especially those glitter effects. Man, those are awesome.

You can, of course, see Tennant along with Matt Smith, John Hurt, Jenna Coleman, and Billie Piper in “The Day of the Doctor,” which airs globally and at 2:50pm ET/11:50am PT on BBC America, which will be preceded by a special Nerdist pre-show hosted by Veronica Belmont on BBC America’s YouTube channel a half-hour beforehand. It’s going to be a grrrrreat deeeee! (That’s how you type a stereotypical Scottish accent.)
