DARK SOULS II Available Now On PCs

PC players, get ready to rage. Dark Souls II for the PC is available now via digital download on Steam. The series, which is known as the bane of many gamers’ existence, is releasing its latest iteration on PCs a day earlier than expected, but with added enhanced graphics compared to its console counterparts.

“FromSoftware has taken the time and great care to deliver Dark Souls II for PC at the level that PC fans expect.” said Chris Gilbert, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at BANDAI NAMCO Games America Inc. “We’re looking forward to fans enjoying the PC version’s upgraded graphical fidelity and its increased frame rates that is sure to deliver an extra visceral punch and open a new dimension to the great gameplay contained in Dark Souls II.”

And while it runs at a full 60fps and in 1080p (if your PC can handle it), Dark Souls II is still priced at $49.99, as were the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, which were released in March.

^ Chill man. Gaming isn’t about peripherals at all, its about immersion. The first time you picked up an XBOX Duke controller, it took some calibration, remember? Same thing with mouse and keyboard. I’ve gamed for 17+ years with both and its all the same really, once you know your controls perfectly, no matter what platform, you can be just as immersed in one as in the other.

Again with the absolutely rubbish keyboard and mouse controls.
