Dancing Groot Returns as a New Comic-Con Exclusive Wooden Puppet

It was only two summers ago that Marvel’s Groot danced his way into our hearts after his first live-action appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy. This summer, Groot’s gonna keep on dancin’ right into your homes…if you’re lucky!

Entertainment Earth has unveiled its new San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Groot wooden push puppet, which is based on the pint-sized Groot from the closing scenes of the first film. The Groot puppet is four inches tall, and it can be controlled by the hidden button on the bottom of the pot. So, he can boogie to anything on the Awesome Mix Vol. 2, or anything else you have in mind.

The Groot puppet will only be a limited edition item, with 2,400 pieces available. Fans going to next month’s San Diego Comic-Con International will get the first opportunity to buy the Groot puppet at the Entertainment Earth booth. Each puppet will also be individually numbered for collectors.

If you can’t make it all the way out to San Diego, there may still be a chance to get your hands on this. Entertainment Earth will be taking preorders at this link, and if any Groot puppets are left after SDCC then the remaining stock will be used to fulfill those orders. But there’s no guarantee that every preorder will be filled.
