Daisy Ridley and Oscar Isaac Sing Holiday Duet for STAR WARS Twitter Q&A

Last Friday, the official Star Wars Twitter account hosted a special Q&A session, using the hashtag #TwitterAwakens, allowing fans to reach out to the stars of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. One fan, Sherrilyn Ling, asked if Daisy Ridley and Oscar Isaac would sing a duet together someday, due to both actors having histories as singers. Well, the two of them did not want to disappoint their fans, and chose to deliver right there on the spot.

They celebrated the season with a holiday classic:

There’s a fun chemistry that shines through in this quick video clip. Luckily, Ridley and Isaac decided to cut the performance off before the more questionable sections from Frank Loesser’s song made things awkward for everyone. As Sherrilyn pointed out, many have seen Oscar’s capability as a singer in the film Inside Llewyn Davis, but it is Daisy’s ability that some may not have known about. Ms. Ridley is also quite an accomplished dancer, but sadly no one requested a dance number.

The rest of Twitter’s Q&A went as expected. Fans asked all sorts of question of the stars, including their favorite scenes, what it meant to be part of something as big as Star Wars, and what inspired Kylo Ren’s lightsaber.

Some of the best tweets, however, came from other celebrities trolling the event, and the people they knew were involved in it. Even Luke himself, Mark Hamill, had a burning question that just needed to be addressed.

Warning: there could possibly be spoilers in case you want to go into The Force Awakens as uninformed as possible.
