The CW Renews 10 Series Including RIVERDALE, SUPERNATURAL, and DC Comics Shows

If you woke up today wondering about the fate of your favorite CW series, you’re in luck. Via Variety, the network has announced renewals for a whopping ten shows, probably none of which will surprise you. They’re bringing back every DC Comics series, including Black Lightning. And if you thought season 13 might be a good place to end Supernatural, well, apparently Sam and Dean Winchester will never, ever stop saving people and hunting things. I swear this show will be airing until Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki are fighting demons off with walkers.

Riverdale is coming back, too, and based on how utterly insane season two has been, I’m both tentatively looking forward to and nervous about what sort of wacky twists they’ll come up with for season three.

Renewed series include:
Supernatural (SEASON 14, GUYS)
Riverdale (season three)
Arrow (season seven)
Legends of Tomorrow (season four)
The Flash (season five)
Supergirl (season four)
Black Lightning (season two)
Jane the Virgin (season five)
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (season four)
Dynasty (season two)

Decisions are still to come about more seasons of Life Sentence, Valor, iZombie, and The 100. Rumors have swirled about The 100 ending after its current season, but they’re not necessarily true, so we’ll see what The CW decides. Those announcements should come in May.

Are you surprised to see any of these series getting renewals? Which shows are you most hyped to see more of? Have any theories for the next seasons? Tell us everything in the comments.
