The presence of cats makes all promotions more interesting. Michael Tivikoff, a.k.a. Mr.TVCow, tested this theory with a video pitting cats against zombies. Of course. He made the video earlier this month to promote Syfy’s Z Nation before its Season 2 premiere, and it’s ridiculously adorable. Cats in costumes shooting weapons and taking on the undead is a winning combination. And it gets better: the two brave feline stars of the video take on an entire horde of shambling zombies in order to rescue a tiny, defenseless kitten. Yep, that’s a thing that actually happens.

The only problem with Cats vs. Zombies is I’d rather see a sequel than go catch up on Z Nation–hopefully the kitten survives the zombie bite and doesn’t change like Murphy. I need to know what happens to it! But, if you have a sudden desire to check out Z Nation, you can view new episodes on Fridays on Syfy. Since Season 2 has been back for a couple of weeks, you’ll have to turn to the Internet to get caught up on the latest in the apocalypse.

I’m amazed the kittens are putting up with wearing those hoods. Every cat I know would be doing everything possible to paw it off and planning revenge for being forced to wear any clothing. Those kittens must be the nicest, most agreeable assassin kittens ever.
