Craig Ferguson’s Back, Jeff Probst Survives, YNB On TWL: Upcoming Podcasts

While you scramble to get that last minute Valentine, a few reminders are in order: one, CVS and the card section at the supermarket are already pretty picked over; two, waiting another day, buying discounted Valentine’s candy and cards, and trying to pass it off like you got it in time but just got too busy to hand it over on the proper day will not work, and three, there’s another exciting week in store at the Nerdist Podcast Network this week. Examples? Surely:

Craig Ferguson makes a triumphant return to the Nerdist Podcast, promoting his new Join or Die with Craig Ferguson on The History Channel. Craig has opinions about recovery, late night TV, marriage, parenting, and outrage, and he’s as awesome as ever. Look for it on Tuesday and check out Join or Die‘s premiere on Thursday.

Wait, Jeff Probst on The Writers Panel? THE Jeff Probst, the Survivor guy? Well, yeah, because he’s not just “the Survivor guy.” He’s produced and directed movies, and he has a successful Young Adult book series. Find out all about his surprising career on Tuesday.

YNB is on TWL! Longtime Nerdist fave Yvette Nicole Brown will drop by Today We Learned for some fact-tradin’. This is joyful news. Hear it Monday morning.

USA Today college basketball analyst Nicole Auerbach is this week’s guest on The Jonah Keri Podcast with some insight into the college basketball season — I will take this opportunity to note that one of my alma maters, Villanova, is presently the number one men’s team in the entire nation, and will enjoy it as long as this lasts, which may not be that long – and opinions on paying college athletes, the Olympics, Twtiter, and more. That’l come your way Friday.

And more. Comedian Annie Lederman will talk sex and relationships on Love, Alexi, Joe De Rosa returns for another Emotional Hang with Kurt on The K Ohle, and Lauren Lapkus and Matt McCarthy will help the usual gang analyze The Bachelor on Will You Accept This Rose?.

Hear it all this week at the Nerdist Podcast Network homepage and Facebook page. Now, you’d better go find a Valentine, because it’s pretty late in the day for that. Remember, if the card isn’t good, add more chocolate. You can’t go wrong with more chocolate.
