Cosplay Friday #190 – Spider-Ham, Aladdin, and More Kid Cosplay

Think you have a lot of costumes? J may be a kid, but he has a leg up on you. His dad James, a.k.a. Nerdy at Home Dad, helps him out in the cosplay department. J has dressed as all sorts of heroes from comic books and games, and by starting at such a young age, he’s probably developing a lifelong appreciation for the hobby. Regardless of whether he sticks with it, cosplaying is helping him work on all sorts of creative and social skills. Plus, he gets to be Spider-Ham and who wouldn’t want to do that for a day?

Feast your eyes upon more adorable costumes in the gallery below. You’ll find J dressed as Aladdin, the tiniest ever Daredevil (he has Matt Murdock’s fighting pose down), Luigi from Super Mario Bros., Robin, and Rocket Raccoon with his buddy Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. I couldn’t pick a favorite if I tried.

You can see all of J’s newest costumes by following Nerdy at Home Dad on Instagram and Facebook.

Do you cosplay or take photographs of cosplayers? Then I want to see your work so we can talk about highlighting what you do in a future Cosplay Friday gallery. If you’re interested, please go ahead and email me at [email protected] with hi-res photos you’d like me to feature. Be sure to provide credits for the cosplayers or photographers for each image because giving credit is good manners–bonus points if you include links to relevant Facebook pages or websites. Though I wish I knew all the geek franchises, I don’t, so please let me know who or what is being cosplayed–I can usually figure it out, but I’ll take all the help I can get.
