Cosplay Friday #171 – WARCRAFT, Groot, Skeletor, and More

Though I’ve been too lazy to invest time into cosplay in recent years, one aspect I’ve always admired and appreciated about the hobby is how many different people it allows you to be. For a few hours or a day, you can live in another world that’s maybe better than ours, and if it’s not, it’s still an escape. Cosplayer Clay Stooshnoff, a.k.a. Stoosh Costuming & Cosplay, has become a variety of characters through cosplay. Ken Masters, Thor, Vegeta. I mean, who doesn’t want to be Skeletor for a little while?

And here he is as Saitama from One-Punch Man:

You can view more of Clay’s work in the gallery below. You’ll find a Warcraft image that looks like it features several Alliance soldiers but is actually just Clay over and over again; he composited the image to make himself look like part of an army. You’ll also see Clay as Lex Luthor and Groot. He has even more costumes on display at Facebook.

Do you cosplay or are you a cosplay photographer? If so, I’d love to showcase your work in an upcoming edition of Cosplay Friday. And it’s the easiest to submit your work to me. You can get photos to me by leaving links to your portfolio in the comments, by sending images to me on Twitter, by tagging or mentioning me on Instagram (no direct messages, please), or emailing me at alratcliffe at yahoo dot com. And if you’re not the photographer, remember to tell me his or her name because giving credit is the cool thing to do–likewise, if you’re a photographer, share the cosplayer’s name with me if you know it.
