BlizzCon brought all the cosplayers to the yard in November. And by yard, I mean the Anaheim Convention Center and by all the cosplayers, I mean a lot of them dressing as characters from Blizzard’s various games. Jessica Nigri attended the event as Deathwing the Destroyer from World of Warcraft. She based her costume design on a sketch she requested from Zach Fischer, and it’s quite ambitious. The costume features armor covered in a highly detailed pattern. Jessica managed to put the impressive looking cosplay together in two to three weeks.
It started with paper patterns, and she made the various pieces of armor from craft foam, Worbla, and EVA foam. It hurts my brain to think about all the steps and time involved. But just look at the fantastic end result:

Are you a cosplayer or cosplay photographer? I want to see your work and include it in a future Cosplay Friday gallery. You can share pictures with me by leaving a link in the comments, tagging/mentioning me on Instagram, or by sending me a photo on Twitter. The higher-res the image, the better, and please include photography credits.
