You can play the “who wore it best” game with cosplayers all the time. It’s not necessarily about who did it better with any given costume, it’s about seeing the various techniques and materials. Five cosplayers could create Spider-Man costumes, and they’d all be a little different. And I mean the same exact Spider-Man costume, not necessarily replicas of variations in the comics. It’s sort of like making cookies; even if you follow a recipe, there will always be slight variations. Mmm. Now I want cookies.

Anyway. Cosplay Friday! This Miles Morales Spider-Man suit came across my radar on Reddit, and it’s so detailed–it’s not quite like any other Miles Morales Spidey costumes I’ve seen.

The Redditor is working on an album showing the construction process but already shared some information about the bodysuit. To get the intricate webbing look, he spent hours applying puff paint. It’s moments like these when I realize I don’t have the deep well of patience necessary in order to be a cosplayer.
