You’ve put tons of hours, sweat, and tears into a costume, the least you can do is take the time to get some quality photos of it. That means getting more pics than the selfie you take in the mirror of your messy workshop. One great way to ensure some snazzy images is to work with one of the many photographers at conventions. Other cosplayers can help you find photographers ahead of time so you can schedule shoots ahead of time. As with anything ever in life, there’s some basic etiquette involved in the process and Kimi of The Golden Lasso recently shared a helpful guide on working with photographers.

So, your homework: Get some fabulous photos taken at the next convention you attend in costume and report back.
