Remember that last week I told you I was headed to Amazing Arizona Comic Con? It was indeed pretty amazing. The convention wasn’t gigantic, but there was a great artists’ alley, fun vendors, and plenty of costumes to keep my camera phone busy (see some photos at Instagram). I didn’t see anyone dressed like Peggy Carter, but I did encounter two Spider-Gwens. I imagine the beautifully designed costume will be among the popular ones this convention season as well as all possible versions of Harley Quinn.

I also brought home a souvenir in the form of a cold. Con crud’s getting its first strike in early this year. I’ll be over here blowing my nose, but you should take a few minutes and flip through this week’s Cosplay Friday. You’ll see a ridiculously lifelike Rocket Raccoon, a ballerina Poison Ivy, and more.
