Conan O’Brien and THE WALKING DEAD’s Steven Yeun Starred in a Wild K-Pop Music Video

This information isn’t exactly in the opening paragraph of his Wikipedia article, but Conan O’Brien actually has made something of a music career for himself. For instance, he put out a couple of releases on Jack White’s Third Man Records in 2010. And now, Conan the musician is back: He and The Walking Dead’s Steven Yeun have just starred in a new music video with legendary K-pop artist J.Y. Park, for a new song called “Fire.”

As you may already know, a special episode of Conan, billed as Conan in Korea, aired this weekend. O’Brien head to South Korea after receiving a kind letter and gift from a native fan. He went on many adventures, like visiting a fish market, playing Starcraft at a Korean gaming café, and “filming a talk show” in North Korea. Much fun was had, but it was at the end of the episode when Conan and the zombie series’ Yeun put their stamp on South Korean music history by collaborating with Park on “Fire” and its music video.

The clip isn’t quite as nuts as some other Korean music videos that are out there, but it’s still pretty wild. It starts with Conan and Yeun in an office trying to spice up their day and find out “Nol-de-up-nee (Where’s the party)?” They see one of Park’s music videos on YouTube, thus deducing where the party is and expediently boarding a flight to Korea. The women on the plane don’t take kindly to their advances and, in what is perhaps a slight overreaction, one of them opens the emergency door and pushes Conan out at 40,000 feet.

It only gets more party from there, so we won’t spoil it for you except by saying that Conan’s famous string dance is involved. Check out the video above and let us know if Conan was the bridge you needed to start a serious love affair with K-pop.
