Conan O’Brien and Terry Crews Play BATTLEFIELD 1 for a New CLUELESS GAMER

EA’s Battlefield 1 has been out for nearly two months now, but Conan O’Brien waited until he could join forces with former NFL player and Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Terry Crews before featuring the game for the latest installment of Clueless Gamer. Even with Crews as his backup, the host of Conan wasn’t prepared for the horrors of World War I. That’s why he brought bunnies!

One of the most hilarious recurring gags in this video had O’Brien and Crews petting bunnies to calm their nerves while the animals were blissfully unaware of their jokes about weaponizing their furry companions in the game. Another standout moment occurred when the duo played the “Storm of Steel” prologue, as the lone surviving Harlem Hellfighter and a German soldier lowered their weapons. O’Brien capped off the moment with “are they gonna kiss?”

Both O’Brien and Crews appeared to be affected by the game’s approach to the mortality of its characters, but that serious moment soon gave way to jokes about the on-screen depiction of the characters’ lifespans…which was even given to one of the trees destroyed during the fight with the enemy.

Later in the video, Crews played as an American pilot in a wild aerial battle against German Zeppelins, and he appeared to be legitimately confused when his plane crashed into the Zeppelin as part of a scripted event. But O’Brien never had more fun in the game than when he watched Crews commandeer the Zeppelin’s anti-aircraft gun before shooting at the Germans with their own weapon. Following that moment of glorious triumph, Crews told his partner, “I really do have to pee.”
