Comedy Playlist: New JustBoobs Sketch Parody, BURGER BUDDIES, And TALKING MARRIAGE Season Three

What do you get when you combine two web series and sketch parody? Today’s Comedy Playlist! We start off with a brilliant melding of two uber-popular series in HBO’s Girls of The Silicon Valley and follow that up with the latest episode of the sublime My Roommate, My Friend series and the first episode of season three of Ryan’s Bailey’s Talking Marriage, featuring AFI’s Davey Havok. Enjoy!

Unless you’re some luddite camped away in a joyless cavern, you’ll know that the second season of Silicon Valley drops this weekend. The series tells the insanely funny tale of six quirky gents forming a tech start-up company. Most of us know there’s a gender imbalance in the technology biz. Our first video pick of the day addresses this observation. The women of JustBoobs Sketch thought they’d replace the men of Silicon Valley with some capable women, HBO’s Girls. The mashup is absolute parody gold! Coders get ready to laugh your 0s and 1s off.

My Roommate, My Friend is a brilliant web series that may have flown under your comedy radar. Created by the Dress Up Gang, the series follows the lives of some very unique roommates and their pals. The current episode, Burger Buddies, is ripe with snitching, a Phil Collins strut, and an endearing trip to America’s favorite burger joint.

Another series you should be paying attention to is Talking Marriage with Ryan Bailey. No, getting hitched is not a requirement to view each episode. The web series features sage advice from a nuptial expert, Ryan, plus interviews with entertainers who sometimes have a word or two to say about this marriage nonsense, I mean blessing. Watch as Ryan starts off season three with a courageous spirit and, perhaps, not the most cooperative guest. You may be humming Miss Murder soon.
