When it comes to 2015, no one can deny itâs going to be the year of franchise cinema. Avengers, Fantastic Four, James Bond, Terminator, Star Wars, Taken, Fifty Shades of Grey, Fast & Furious… if you have a franchise associated film, you probably have something coming out next year. But, of all the franchise pictures that will be dropping in the coming months, one of them is something that, two years ago, we would never have believed. Jurassic World, the next installment in the Jurassic Park series is currently in the middle of production, and with its release officially one year away as of today, some new images have popped up courtesy of The A.V. Club:
While no dinosaurs are on display in this set, what weâre seeing here is a look at some of the human cast, including Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins.
What made Spielbergâs original Jurassic Park so great, like many of his films, is how the human cast reacted to the dinosaurs that were trying to eat them, step on them, or just plain maim them. Arguably, itâs this human element that landed director Colin Trevorrow the job. If thereâs one thing a film like Safety Not Guaranteed in fact guarantees, itâs the manâs ability to tap into the human emotion required to make a film like Jurassic World succeed.
What do you guys think of the new images? Are you excited for the next installment in the Jurassic Park series? Let us know in the comments below.
i literally loved this series. waiting for its next part to arrive with much better graphics work

Nice pics. Now eventually you plan to have dinosaurs in your new dinosaur movie, right?
There better be feathers on the gosh darn dinos. If not I riot. Just me. Rioting. Over dino feathers. I’m cool like that.
are there any believable actresses left in hollywood? She looks so out of place…FFS!
Chris Pratt looks hot!
the most important thing right?
“What made Spielberg’s original Jurassic Park so great” – did people think it was so great at the time? Fun, maybe, but great? I don’t think so.
Some did, sure. I remember quite a few people raving about how great it was, at the time.
Yes, we did think it was great. Why do you think it isn’t great? How old are you? get off the internet… it’s corrupting your sensibilities.
It set the tone for the modern day summer blockbuster I’d say and it was incredibly ahead of its time in production. It still looks amazing to this day. This movie is going back to the roots and its gonna be awesome
go back and watch movies from back in that time, the graphics and realism of the dinosaurs were far far far ahead of anything around. I went back and watch Jurassic Park and the dinosaurs still felt real and not incredible cheesy. And I have went back and watch Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and even that has seemed cheesy to me. In fact I just watched Avatar (the James Cameron film) and the graphics already seemed shitty compared to this age. The fact that Jurassic Park still feels realistic 21 years later means a lot!
It was critically well-received. Like REALLY well.
