Holy moly with pepperoni and cheese on top! The 2011 Coachella Lineup is here, and its unbelievable! Itâs like… If Coachella were a person, they didnât just break me off a piece of their Kit Kat bar, but instead, bought me an entire Kit Kat Factory and then sold it so they could buy a Snickers factory because they know I like Snickers better. Itâs the apple of my eye, the honey in my tea and the Patrick Carney to my Dan Auerbach. Iâm thinking about asking it on a date.
The headliners include: Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire, Kanye West, The Strokes, The Black Keys, Animal Collective, Interpol, Mumford and Sons, and The National… Not to mention the other 200 amazing artists. The lineup this year is Lollapalooza â07 and Glastonbury â10’s baby that they abandoned in the California desert. It has an eclectic mix of Indie Rock, Pop, Electronic, Dance and Folk.
I havenât been so excited to see a group of musicians in my entire life. I keep playing the game âIf someone had a gun to your head and said you can only see 3 bands a day, which 3 would you pick.â Well, Iâve been playing for 12 hours and that figurative gun is still there. The one thing Iâm completely certain of is my dream to run into this guy:
6 days to sell out … wow, that will teach us to delay in our ticket purchases.
Single tear.
Your forgetting the most important part; Gogol Bordello is playing!!
(so is yelle and sleigh bells)
Cochella may try to imitate, but it ain’t got nuthin’ on the one, the only, the original New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival:

There seems to be a lot of overlap with Cochella performers though
Death From Above 1979 reunion is enough to warrant the cross country trip for me.
Pbbbth. No comedy acts?
I live literally 30 feet away from that.
the line-up isn’t my cup of tea but that many bands is pretty epic for whoever attends
Run into that guy? Pfft. With enough drugs and alcohol you can create your own superior version!
