Chris Pratt Sang His Ode to Li’l Sebastian (with Nick Offerman) at the PARKS AND REC Wrap Party

Get ready for all of the feelings, America, because you’re about to have them. As if all those social media photos from Parks and Recreation‘s last day of shooting weren’t enough to bring us to our proverbial knees (weeping silently, unsure how to go on), now we’ve got this: video footage of Chris Pratt (as accompanied by walking mustache Nick Offerman) singing “5,000 Candles in the Wind,” his ode to the greatest miniature horse to ever roam this earth, Li’l Sebastian.

If you’re unfamiliar with the tune, well — what the hell is wrong with you? Andy Dwyer wrote the sweet li’l ditty to honor the fallen hero-horse, and it was performed by a whole host of impressive musician types at the Pawnee-Eagleton Unity Concert (including Ginuwine, Donna Meagle’s cousin) for all the world to see. It was a thing of beauty — complete with a hologram Li’l Sebastian — made all the more glorious by Ben Wyatt’s disapproving side-eye.

During the Parks and Rec wrap party, though, Pratt performed the song once more with his illustrious Ron Swanson-lookalike co-star, Nick Offerman, on guitar. One more time for the cheap seats in the back! And this time with MORE FEELING:

Ugh, the world may be cruel and unkind to even its brightest lights (cough cough NBC), but at least we’ll always have the memory. Of Li’l Sebastian. Of Andy and April. Of Ron Swanson’s love affair with meat and wood and manliness.

What are some of your favorite Parks and Recreation moments? Let’s hear ’em in the comments.

Still think the best moment ever is Chris Pratt’s improvised line of, “Leslie, I typed your symptoms into this bar and it says you may have network connectivity problems.” Also Rob Lowe looking at himself in the mirror and completely straight saying, “Stop. Pooping.” OKAY I LOVE THAT WHOLE EPISODE LEAVE ME ALONE.
