Who doesnât love a gummy Coke bottle, itâs a tiny gummy version of delightful bubbly soda in a sweet candy form. Irresistible, it doesnât get better than that or does it? While mini gummies are adorable, why not go large and make a full size, 20-ounce gummy version?
Gummies are surprisingly easy to make at home, allowing home DIYers to get creative with their gummy experimentation. YouTuber Morena DIY has taken those experiments to the next level by creating a full size gummy Coke bottle that is too realistic to believe.
The recipe is quite simple, itâs all in the preparation. The cola is poured out and mixed with gelatin; thatâs it, nothing more. Once the bottle is empty, itâs cut, then taped to reseal to avoid leakage, then the liquid is poured back in the bottle. The label is peeled off and saved as well.
After a few hours of refrigeration, the Coke solidifies and is ready to roll. In what Iâm assuming is the most difficult part, the plastic bottle is carefully peeled off so youâre left with the full size gummy.
When the label is added back on the Coke bottle comes to life and looks surprisingly realistic, that is until you slice into it. Suddenly the bottle becomes a wobbly piece of jelly. Iâm sure itâs delicious as itâs just chewable Coke and who wouldnât want that?
