Check Out These Rad Wonder Festival STREET FIGHTER II Statues

Every year, Wonder Festival–which takes place in Chiba, Japan– features some of the most rad collectibles that a nerd can ask for. There is no shortage of figurines, toys, and models of your favorite anime and video game characters. This year is no different, with these Street Fighter II “continue” statues were revealed at the event–just in time for all of the Street Fighter V hype. These collectibles are meant to mirror the image that appears once a fighter has been defeated. I’d say this is a fun way of showing your love towards one of the best arcade fighters ever.

Despite the whole Street Fighter V beta debacle going on right now, the majority of the fans are still feverishly excited for the fighting series. So far, Capcom has done an excellent job of rolling out new characters, new designs, and dropping the bomb about all the free content that will be available for the newest iteration. Just the fact that they are dropping the “Ultra” and “Super” upgrades gets me excited. Even Jamie Lee Curtis is getting in on the fun by sneaking around EVO 2015 using a Vega Cosplay.

Things should be ramping up even more as Capcom continues to reveal more information about Street Fighter V. Necalli, a beast like combatant, was revealed last week, and there are still 3 more that we don’t know about. Furthermore, Sony will probably begin to ramp up the marketing the closer we get to the impending release of the PS4 exclusive title. In other words: be prepared for more in-your-face Street Fighter goodness.

Will you be attempting to add these to your collection? Which one is your favorite? Make sure to let us know in the comments section below.
