Check Out Some New Key Art For TNT’s Sean Bean Drama, LEGENDS

You gotta hand it to TNT, with shows like Falling Skies already on the docket for the summer, The Last Ship upcoming in the next couple weeks and Fix-It Men announced to be in development, the network that knows drama has been kind of killing it on the genre front lately. It only makes sense another one of their big pushes would involve a high-octane action series from the folks behind 24 and Homeland (namely Howard Gordon). So today, we have some new pieces of key art for the network’s upcoming Sean Bean starring drama, Legends.

For the uninitiated, the series, based on the Robert Littell novel of the same name, follows Martin Odum, an undercover agent working for the FBI’s Deep Cover Operations (DCO) division. Martin has the uncanny ability to transform himself into a completely different person for each job. But he begins to question his own identity when a mysterious stranger suggests that Martin isn’t the man he believes himself to be.

In addition to Gordon, the series will be executive produced by Alexander Cary (Homeland, Lie to Me) and Jonathan Levin (Charmed), Brad Turner (24), and showrun by David Wilcox (Fringe).

This one sounds like something right up the alley of folks looking for a new pulse-pounding drama to fill the void that will follow the conclusion of 24: Live Another Day later this summer… and that’s totally fine. Because who doesn’t love an action/adventure series over Wednesday night dinner?

Legends premieres August 13th at 9 p.m. on TNT.
