With 2014 coming to a close, weâre now less than half a year away from the release of Joss Whedonâs Avengers: Age of Ultron, arguably the most anticipated film of 2015. Though the release date still seems so far off, that’s not going to stop us from getting a look at as much non-spoilery superhero excellence as possible. Luckily, Hot Toys is a company of the people and has unveiled a detailed look at their 1/6th scale Mark XLIII Collectible Figure modeled after Tonyâs armor in the upcoming film. Check it out:
Yes, yes, and oh very much yes.
The latest in Starkâs line of tech suits looks like a swell addition to the collection he famously blew up in a spectacular fireworks show at the end of Iron Man 3. Of course weâre wondering what made Tony decide to hop back in the suit considering the end of his last appearance, but then again, with Hydra out and about without a S.H.I.E.L.D. around to stop them (Tony isnât aware of Coulsonâs goings on), how could he not?
With every little glimpse we get from the upcoming sequel, the more and more interested we become. Itâs been reported in the past that Age of Ultron is going to feature some of the, if not the largest amount of destruction ever seen in the MCU, and that destruction and pain is whatâs going to lead to Captain America: Civil War in 2016… so weâre already feeling unprepared for this one.
Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters May 1, 2015.
