Check Out Bill Paxton and More In Some New Clips From The Next AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

It seems things are starting to heat up quickly for Marvel’s grand TV experiment, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. If you haven’t been watching and you intend to catch up, beware of SPOILERS: When we last left Team Coulson, Skye was nearing death and Mike Peterson (as promised) was transformed into the MCU’s version of Deathlock. Earlier this week, we got our first look at Jaimie Alexander’s Lady Sif in an upcoming episode, and today, we offer you some new clips from this Tuesday’s episode. The first is a meaty 4-minute opening that takes place immediately after the events of the previous episode, and the second is some footage featuring the recently announced introduction of Bill Paxton as John Garrett.

It seems this life or death situation with Skye is what will hopefully bring us the answers we’re seeking regarding Coulson, which is good considering we’re over halfway done with the current season. And while there’s not much of Paxton in that short clip to really get a sense of who Garrett is, we’ll have plenty of time to get into it, as current reports have the character sticking around for at least a four episode arc. That’s a whole month of Paxton, people, and there ain’t nothing wrong with that.

As we inch closer to the release of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, things are surely going to get crazy for our TV team, as it’s been rumored the events of the sequel will directly impact the series, especially since the plot of Cap 2 is heavily based around S.H.I.E.L.D. itself.

Whatever the case may be, it definitely appears Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has found its groove, and there’s much to look forward to in the coming weeks.

I binge-watched the first 12 or so episodes of the show and wasn’t really impressed until near the end of that run. But the new episodes that have been released I’ve really enjoyed and it’s great to see the show grow into what I think it was meant to be.
